Everything starts with an idea. A business is no exception.

Every achievement begins with an idea. It could be a brand new idea for a product or a service or a new sales or marketing campaign. Or a new strategy for solving a problem or improving productivity or a simply a new idea organising your daily life.

Your business idea is the skeleton of your business. Everything else, your marketing plan, your finance etc. will fit around your business idea. So put it simply, no idea, no business.

The first question always is "What is your business idea" and it is not acceptable to most people to say "I have not figured that out yet." The truth is that you are in nobody's radar if you are not able to talk about your business idea.

If you know how other people have come up with their business ideas, chances are that you can do the same. Or you can even become their competitor by improving their business idea the way you think customers would appreciate it. Or you can test a product or a service which is sold in one market only to another market and see if you can make a decent living. Chances are literally endless once you know what you can do. Knowledge truly is power.
